Under normal circumstances, the thermal efficiency of biomass boilers is often affected by the thickness of the material layer. When the thermal efficiency is high, the thickness of the material layer usually needs to be controlled at about 300mm, and the thickness of the material layer at this time should be kept as constant as possible.

When the fuel of the biomass boiler burns stably and there is some open flame burning in the back arch area, the thermal efficiency can be increased by adjusting the opening of each air door of the grate. The adjustment of the opening of the damper of a biomass boiler generally requires the front damper to be opened and the rear damper to be closed as small as possible. At the same time, the front and rear arches of the secondary air must be opened. The opening of the air door of the secondary air depends on the flame and smoke flow field above the fire bed after the secondary air is turned on.
In addition, the thermal efficiency of the biomass boiler must be guaranteed, and the ignition line should also be controlled within 100-200mm from the exit of the pilot arch. If the fire is too early, it is easy to ignite the fuel in the coal hopper; too late is not conducive to the exhaustion of the fuel.
