The biomass steam boiler itself is an energy-saving boiler. Compared with traditional boiler equipment, it can save energy by more than 30%, which is better than the national gas-fired boiler emission standard. The combustion technology of biomass steam boiler is divided into reverse combustion, cracking, high temperature combustion, and full combustion. The fuel consumption of biomass steam boiler is also relatively small.

There are many ways to calculate the fuel consumption of biomass steam boilers. Let’s take 74.94 tons of hot steam per hour as an example to calculate the fuel consumption of biomass steam boilers:
74.94×600,000 kcal = 44.964 million kcal heat ÷ 80% (boiler thermal efficiency) = 56.205 million kcal (heat required by the boiler)
That is, to produce 74.94 tons of steam requires your biomass boiler to provide 56205 million kcal of heat.
56.205 million kcal ÷ 3500 kcal/kg (the average calorific value of biomass, this depends on the actual heat) ≈ 16000 kg
