  1. Biomass collection Biomass collection is a very important process. The main considerations are: first, the service radius of the processing plant; second, the form of raw materials supplied by the farmers to the processing plant, whether it is an integral type or a pre-processed packaging type; the third is the degree of wilting of the raw materials , That is, the degree of dehydration of raw materials in the field through wind, sun, and natural conditions.

  2. The moisture content of the dried biomass is between 20% and 40%, and it is generally dried by drum drying to reduce the moisture content of the raw material to 8% to 20%. If the raw material is too dry, the carbonization and cracking of the particle surface during the compression process may cause spontaneous combustion; and when the moisture of the raw material is too high, the water vapor generated during the heating process cannot be smoothly discharged, which will increase the volume and reduce the mechanical strength.

  3. Compression "forming mold" is a key component of biomass molding. Its inner wall is a cone with a large front and a small back. The plunger pressure increases sharply after the material enters the mold, and the gas between the materials is further discharged, and they are closely attached to each other and stacked. And inlay, and push the basically formed material into the pressure change area (in the cone-shaped sleeve). In the pressure change zone, the material undergoes irreversible plastic intersecting and bonding, until it is pushed into the shape retention zone by the continuously formed material after forming.

  4. Heating the heating in the compression molding process of biomass raw materials, on the one hand, can soften the lignin contained in the raw materials and act as a binding agent; on the other hand, it can also make the raw materials themselves soft and easy to compress. In addition, the heating temperature also affects the working efficiency of the molding machine. For the rod forming machine, when the structure size of the machine is determined, the heating temperature should be adjusted to a reasonable range. If the temperature is too low, not only the raw materials cannot be molded, but also the power consumption increases; if the temperature is too high, the bonding power consumption decreases, but the molding pressure decreases, the molding extrusion is not solid, the density decreases, and it is easy to break and break.

  Although pellet fuel molding is not heated by an external heat source, during the molding process, the friction between the raw material and the working parts of the biomass boiler can also heat the raw material to about 100°C, which can also soften the lignin contained in the raw material. The boiler production process plays a role in bonding.
